Round 2 for the Berlin-Longline-Meeting. Like last year, this is an unofficial meeting with main focus on longlining. Some reasons why we choose to make it an "unofficial meeting" rather then a "festival" are:
a lot less time required for organizing (e.g. to find a festival area, get permissions, sponsors...), huge area to setup lines without beeing responsible for everything that happens -> people are free to setup whatever lines they want, hoping everyone knows what they are doing. This means you have your favorite Gear among other peoples favorite Gear, not just one type as it often is on festivals. So that everything is a lot more free then on a festival.
Some other points this involves are: no sponsors, no competitions, no festival area, no entrance fee, no organizor responsible for everything, no fixed sleeping places (we will try to host as many people as possible, but please also try to find sleping places yourself)
So the conclusion is: its an invitation to join the slackline community in berlin and spend an incredible weekend with us
For the main part we'll meet in a park with a huge open space surrounded by trees. Almost any length of line is possible and there rarely ever is anyone, so there won't be a problem setting up our lines. There will also be tons of tricklines and ordinary short lines.
For the second day we will most likely go (long)waterlining. Linelength from 20 up to more then 100m are possible.
So mark your calendars, start drawing your hitchhiking signs and join our spiderweb.
This will be the perfect oportunity to break your personal longline record, meet other slackers, try different slackline gear and most of all have a great time slacklining, barbecueing and summersaulting.
Watch some footage from last year from kwjet:

It would be good if you could bring gear.
If weight is an issue:
The most important things will be:
Webbing,
Bananas,
Spansets,
Treeprotection
(lines up to ~150m we can set up using linegrips, so that tensioningsystems aren't mandatory for short longlines, we learned from last year and will use a train of grips this time, for longer lines, please bring an adequate tensioning system)
Sleeping:
There will be some room at local slackliners places, when you need a place to stay, please send an email to sleep@turntoexposure.de, so that it will be easier to organise, the earlier, the better your chances. Bring camping mat and sleeping bag.
Most likely you will need a ticket for public transports for both days to reach the spots.
